Vivian's sire is the renowned Stone Phillips. "Stone" is a popular silver-grey herdsire who stands at Alpacas of America in Washington State. He was imported en-utero, making him unrelated to any other herdsire in the country. This gives Vivian rare, West Coast bloodlines, which means she can be bred to just about any herdsire here on the east coast!

Because it is recessive, true-black alpacas tend to throw the sire's color. This makes true-black the most versatile color you can put in your breeding program.
